good concept, I like the take on a more modern looking character, no huge medieval style armour n stuff. Considerin this is supposed to be set in the future, post-apocalypse I’d say its a very fitting design to the spec.

Fantastic Sketch work Diego, reminds a lot of Andy Kubert.
one question though, it seems like you’ve drawn in his bellybutton, so he doesn’t ware a shirt under his jacket? being Canadian i know a thing or two about cold, so’s i gotta say, wouldn’t happen. not to mention the chaffing from the armour over his heart there.

Actually the sword gives him a magical protection from cold… he can handle temperature extremely cold. So… he doesn’t need necessarily clothes to get warmed.
If he did… any cloth would be enough to protect him from the ice of the sword.

p.s: your character is also good! there are some similarities between our characters as you said. Good luck! :smiley:

i really like th estyle in your character and i appreciate teh modern loook as well. however i think he could use little more armor to defend himself from machines. also some more intense silhoutte variation could be helpful. anyways keep going, im looking forward to ur 3d version of it.
