DWIII - 3D - Chindian - Mortikai

Hey everyone - I’m just starting up my DW3 entry… not really sure if i’m gonna have the time to finish it… since I’m in the process of moving back to my home country on the 13th March - so my computer is gonna be packed up pretty soon… but I’m gonna push it and see how far i can go…

Anyways - still searchin for a concept… did a couple sketches but nothing definite yet… I’m thinkin to either go with a stalker or warlord… Hopefully i can come up with something i like soon.

Here’s what I got so far…

Anyways - that’s what i got so far… I’ll continue the concept work and hopefully soon have something locked down that I can develop further…

Hey Thaddeus!

I’m a fan of the 5th image (stalker) and the silhouette of the bottom right of the 6th image. The last silhouette form is pretty cool as well! Keep it up!

I really like image 5. The stalker has a great feel to it. And the arms look really cool! He has some cool proportions! I look forward to seeing more!

So i’ve chosen the stalker… Here’s some updates on the concept… still needs alot of fleshing out… VERY ROUGH right now… not really sure about the face design… still muckin around with concepts at this point…
I’m thinkin to go with darkness/void for his element of magic…

Also - need some help with weapon ideas…

i like the 5th wepon, but i think you should flip it like 6 and put the holes in it like six. :smiley:

1 & 4 or even better yet, have him hold #1 the same as #4, Dynamic! :thumbsup: :stuck_out_tongue:

arison - this isn’t the final posing… so how he holds the weapon will be decided later - right now i’m just working out form and wut this guy’s gonna look like… Anyways - thanks for the input dude!

gerudir - Thanks man - i think i’m going with something similar to 2 - and making the blades spring loaded maybe -so they shoot out into his victims as he punches them…

Anyways - i’ve been gettin some feedback that ppl seem to like the original concept (no. 1) - so i spent some time trying to get back to that original concept a bit…I guess the hooded figure is more mysterious and fits the class better.
Still not sure on the face what exactly i want to do… I’m open to ideas at this point.

Anyways - still haven’t locked down the face design yet - so i’m workin on some more sketches… hopefully i’ll have something i like soon… Really itching to start the real modeling. So far i just started a generic chest bust and quick head… but without locked down concept it’s hard to continue…
I’ll maybe post the WIP 3d later…

1,3, and 4 looks like they will fit that body. Awesome 2D concepts so far dude, can’t wait to see this in 3D/Zbrush and at the final stage. Cheers mate

Ok so - we have a three way tie between 3,4, and 8 so far…
Personally I’m kinda learning towards 3 - but I’m still curious to see what other ppl have to say… So keep your suggestions coming…
