The idea with the fire-dragon-arm is great, but i dont like the face of the character in your last sketch - i think the face of the first sketch is more storytelling, with the hidden eye and faceparts he is more misterious…

I second Airflow, very good!

But I must admit I acutally like the first image more. The first image looks like two super heroes, the beefy hero dude with his reptile friend:) And with the last color concept, he doesnt look as heroic, and the lizard seems more like a magical summoned pet. I just prefer the first!
But anyways, I will keep my eye on this one.
