Update: Here comes my first concept. I apologize that this might come abit too late since I got stuffed up with work :frowning: . Anyway, this creature is an alienlike , I am thinking to make him a warrior or stalker with dual blade-tonfa as his weapons. The element would be dark (if I am to make him a stalker) or fire (if he is a warrior). So far he might look more of warrior than the latter :P. The more refined version is coming soon. I am currently making some new concepts of his body-figure .

Well… I hope I can make it in time! Looks like I am behind! aghrr! why dont we have 48 hours a day. Lol, anyway. Here are the updates of the Mantopodox, this time he looks more like a insect kind of alien. I got inspired by mantis and ants.

Hi Wilzoon,

Your creature alien will sure do some serious damage keep up doing some concepts with the swords so we can critique and maybe a close up of the face you are aiming with? Although a great concepts the shapes you chose are really neat:buttrock:

Hey Axel, Thanks alot for the feedback! Your creature is awesome, man. I will post the details of the head as soon as I am finished sketching. Meanwhile, here are the updates that I have done. Just to get the feel of it regarding shape and colour.

Hey Wilson,

Great choice in the dark palette, and the team colors I think they all work well I like a lot the face details like that mouth full of crazy pointy things wow!:twisted: About the tale the claws are a great design, but maybe its function won’t be same as a leg? Or maybe a bit more as a support fighting body part? So why not add more strength to it like more fingers o better claws? Since he doesn’t need it for balance nor does he? Anyways that’s all I could think to help, hope it does all the concepts look great! :thumbsup:

Axel, thanks for the tips man. You are right, the tail is just for fighting support, it’s mainly to grab the unawared enemies and crush/throw them away although it could be used to grab and hang on something too. it doesn’t effect the balance issue. I will post the more details of the tail and his tonfa-blade soon. Meanwhile, this is the side view of the modelling sheet I was working on. Arghh!! 1 week left!

Thanks Robomojo. I really need to rush now, currently in hyper-frantic state. I reckon this is gonna be finished in the last minutes (if I am lucky enough) Arggh!! Anyway, this what I have done so far for the modelling sheet.

Now move on to the final pose!!

Finally… managed to finish it in the last few minutes after massive rushing… eventhough I am not really satisfied with it. However, all is good, now its time to get a full rest. Oh, Any comments are mostly welcome :slight_smile: .
