DWIII - 2D - The Flork - Angel Grinder

YAY ITS DONE!!!

Hi!
Im Flork!
This looks like a lot of fun and cant wait to spend some time on it.
When i was reading the rules, as soon as i saw holy, the idea of an artifact encasing an angel and  used as a weapon with its halo as the barrel of its holy force lol

I've never done these black and white concepts before but they seem pretty popular here so i thought id give it a shot!

and then to remind my self i really could draw i did some quick sketches of the demon under the armor. even though in the final hill be completely covered in armor, i think its important to know what its going over.

i numbered everything so feel free to tear it apart and call it by number :-D

Hey Flork, Number 6 has a good silhouette and a fun design. That one is the best so far. Also, number 4 has a cool design and I like his face. As for you illustrations, I think you can explore more designs, but #1 is the most appealing to me. Can’t wait to see more designs.

thanks guys! yeah number 6 is definitely the closest to what i had in mind! i will definitely have more concept up for him with out the armor later tonight or tomorrow!

Actualy i like all in first sketch. Lasts one is … um a lil boring. even if they have (giggle) pinuses >:3 :applause:

Would be better if lasts one will gain some heavy armor and weapons. exclude trousers ofc. They good without it. (did i said something wrong? O_o’)

UPD - Ow. i read about that u already get in mind give demons an armor. D: i failed.

Hey Flork,

I really like #3 on the first page (that guy has a pretty wicked face) and #1 on the second page. I would also like to see #6 on the second page fleshed out a little more. He looks like a cool concept as well. Keep up the the awesome work, I’m excited to see more stuff.

Hey man! Good stuff!
Im not sure i like any of the first armored rough thumbs, though i really like all of the other drawings! I couldnt really pick a favourite one, i like the pouting belly and the fact that he has a penis(not many demons/aliens/males around here do, i find that weird). Keep it up!

Hey Flork

On your first concept page I would go with #2. Everything else although interesting have been done many times. Even in this comp. Especially the symbol on the back , and dual cannons with chicks strapped on. #3 is also pretty cool with a different head treatment. I really like 6 8 and especially 9 on your line drawings…

WOw, thats some amazing designs down there. I like number 5 and 6, it has unique shapes and awesome pose, number 7 looks very awesome too, the legs seems to run fast…hehe. In the end, just remember to include those booby cannons to your designs, they’ll freak out everyone!!

Great update! In the first page i like the #3 and in the second page i live the #1, it’s really sick!
But all samples are very good.

Thanks for all the comments guys! i went a head and redrew the more popular ones. as i was finishing the last one i remmbered that all the details arnt that important becuse it’s all gonna be covered by armor any way, but it was still fun! :smiley:

so outta these witch one would look coolest in big armor lol

The orginal idea with the holy Angels is a gem. Love it Hope you ride that idea out. Love your slimmer angular characters as apposed to the really large ones.
Outta your last sketches I like the silhouette of B but like the weirdness of D’s face esp. his mouth.
