DWIII - 2D - Morgado - Vegea

Well, Ill give a hand at the concept category as well (loads of time to spare in my life eheh)

Class: Stalker
Artifact: to be determined

Just done some quick thumbs and these fast sketches so far, Ill let her specifics (engagement method, magic type, etc) evolve from here.

I really like the upper left hand corner one it has an edge to it that I think would make a very interesting character.

So far were in sintony eheh. I was liking the left ones more, as well as the top right one. I’ll do some more thumbs and also explore those 3 designs more.

Also, an early concept for her magic (may be changed yet): she uses vegetation magic (artifact being something in her armour), to “morph” herself into her locations local fauna, enabling her to remain hidden for information gathering and assassination ambush.

Hope the top right one is understandable as her coming out of a tree (vegetation magic)

Some studies on the armour, Im not worrying too much about the artifact opr her head at the moment.

Last ones of this line of thought. Ill try to see how she could be if she was mutated or something. My main concern at the moment is her silhuoette.

I wasnt overly happy how the characters were reading from long range, so tried some more thumb studies, this time im trying to give her less clothing to make her stand out at long range :smiley:

It’s looking great as usual. I particularly liked the rifle. Maybe it would restrain her movements if she’s really acrobatic, but it could give her an upper hand at medium to long-range encounters. Would make her more versatile. But it all depends on were you’re going with her

Great works so far!

From the thumbs, I like 2 and 16, especially their head piece. On the last picture, the right one gets my vote though I think the shoulder piece that extruded upward interfere with the flow of the side-widening mask. Anyway, is the mask symmetrical?

Yes that particular mask is symmetrical. But I will change it yet, because that one in particular reminds me of Margonites in guildwars :stuck_out_tongue:
Ans I’m digging more some masks I did in the thumbs. I need to start numbering things lol.

Personally im more fond of the right shoulder piece. The spiky pattern gives her a more agressive look and goes well with the torso “armour”

I believe I also gotta make her glove bigger (the artifact), and give her some vegetative elements

Another try, also had a nack at the back, and did a colour test. Also, I think I am not going with strong elements like heavy shoulder pads etc, because they detract from the idea of a stealthy character I believe
