I’m sorry guys, but it seems that unfortunately i won’t make it in time. There have been meny difficulties in my life recently, various reasons which took all my time. I wish that threre would be anothere 5day extension, then i would definately made it in time, but it’s not gonna happen, so… no matter how hard i would try today, i won’t success because i need to finish modeling sheet and need to makae a final illustration. It’s impossible to do in just one day. It’s a big unfortunate… :frowning:

Hi pal! You have two days else, today and tommorow till the nigh as i understand. Try to do illustration using your work where it almost like illustration and do schematically modeling sheet, better to finish it as you can then didnt.

I’ll try offcourse but i really doubt that i’ll make it in time. It’s hard to concentrate on doing something when the clock is ticking in your head.

I have same thing now too, missconcentration:) yesterday finished with layout and prepare sheets for modeling and concept. Not like i imagine it first time, but better then nothing:) My opinion i have spend many time to find variants and havent power to finish with final variant, i think you have same thing, beacuse did many not nessecary stuff here:) So now i hardly work to make final illustration.

Yeah, i think i will make the final illustration first and only then will finish the modeling sheet, anyway i have nothing to loose right? :slight_smile:

I am already working on it, and i think that maybe i will succeed afterall… i made some calculations and two days may be enough to complete both modeling sheet and final illustration :slight_smile: it seems that there will be more sleepless nights for me :smiley: but it’s worth it.

ironically, you’ve already shown great community effort by making the logo, but it is sad that you won’t be able to finish. the 6 armed guy looked pretty cool! just one upping me on the arm department eh? j/k

Just ignore the clock ticking: It’s a great piece and for yourself, you should finish it whether it gets into the contest or no. (But a shame to put all this time into it and miss it by a little bit too!) Good luck, hope you make it!

I was wondering if you were ever going to update again.

I really hope you can finish up! I think if you finish you’ll be at the head of cgsociety ranks going into smash the other forums with Walrus and a few others…I just finished mine up heh, 10 hours strait…though I’ll be back in the back loading myself into the cannon as fodder while you guys are charging the front lines!

I look foward to seeing the final illustration wether you get it done in time or later though, so keep it up!

blindsyte : Yeah, the logo already is a big achievement. It is astonishing to see it on everybody’s works. And yeah this six armed fella is a bit difficult character. But i’m working on it and it currently everything is going just fine. :slight_smile: Thanks.

walrus : I’m trying but it’s very hard to not think about deadline. Yeah i agree, it would be a shame to put this much effort in this work and fail. And thanks mate. =) By the way superb work you did with your own character. :slight_smile:

Thank you guys for support, but now i know for sure that i won’t make it in time. Anyway i will finish this illustration and put everything i got in it no mater what. Just like i was planning to do before this big delay which ruined everything for me. :cry:
I wish you all the best in this contest, make sure that victory is ours! ^^

Yeah, something like that. But it’s OK, i had a great experience anyway. While working on final illustration, yesterday i made an entry to another contest and finished it, so i can continue to work on this illustration, perhaps today i will post my progress on this matter. :slight_smile:
