Dropped Frames in After Effects

#1

Hi , I rendered out a file in CInema 4D as PAL DV with 25 Frames and the defauly pixel aspect ratio but the footage when imported into After Effects looks a bit jittery and jumpy like its dropping frames or something … I fixed my import settings to 25 frames by default and the Sequence Frame rate to 25 but its still jumpy … Any suggestions why this is happening ?

You're not serious, are you? Never ever render movie clips from a 3D program!!! Use image sequences!!! The issues you are seeing are very likely encoding glitches already introduced by your rendering.

Hehe I did , What I meant to say is I rendered a PNG sequence with the settings of PAL DV That is the pixel aspect ratio , the dimensions and frame rate but it is a PNG Sequence

After Effects import 30fps by default for a sequence. Right click your footage in the project window and select Interpret Footage. Then conform the framerate to 25.
