Great to see you again on that project Denisa

The best things need time to become wonderfull … I’ll wait for your next update

#322

she’s hot!

Coming back to the non-youth-hormonized me, I love the expression as well, and it’s looking very realistic.

Just make a render with the whole torso workk

Wonderfull! Very elegant!

#325

I love the musculature definition in her back.

#326

Really amazing. All the textures and details are awesome.

The back muscles and her right triceps look strange. You may want to revisit those. Also, perhaps it’s not necessary to define in depth all the muscles? She looks very tense.

Hi there. I was just looking through this thread, admiring your beautiful work, and reading the comments of all the fans. Everything is very impressive, but your last updates are somewhat irritating: they are exactly the same renders as in your very first post, 2006. :hmm:

^ from first post, would probably be why :stuck_out_tongue:

An impressive piece of work so far. It looks like you used yourself as the basis for the character build and then modified from there. Looking at your mesh base made me think of a gentleman named Stahlberge. A master working out of Malaysia. Have you ever studied his work? His basic construction methods helped me create more efficient hi res poly models.

Loved the clothing, btw. What did you use for reference? It looks like you created a ton of individual parts one at a time. What are your takes on using the fabric tools included in most software packages vs what you did to create this particular piece?

I’m updating first post everytime and add new pictures for people who don’t read whole thread.

THANK YOU ALL

I learnt a lot from Alessandro Baldasseroni. He helps me and give some advice. He’s my guru! Stahlberg is great but i don’t know his exact topology for character, i’m improvise a lot.
I’m using 3ds Max without any plugins/script for modeling and Photoshop.

I’d like to create flawless character model without any posptoroduction, only clear render. I don’t like mutch picture imitation or zbrush output. I’d like use her for my animation reel so she must be flawless in all details. I’d like to use camera fly round a few centimetrs from her body.

hey denisa!

this is amazing. it’s been awhile since i last saw such elegant and beautiful 3d woman. everything from posture, anatomy (love the back) and all the details you put in her cloth is very well done.
i’ll sure keep an eye here. cheering.

I just jumped on your thread to show my wife your thread. The updates are outstanding. The model is set so beautiful and elegant and the modeling is superb. Like I said in my last post in this thread. Looking at your work is a treat and an inspiration.

#335

Ok, nontheless irritating. Anyhow: it’s a beautiful work you are doing! I like especially your WIP detail ‘shots’, which are a piece of art for themeselves. I would love to see them in a real gallery!

#336

Thank you for the response. I am impressed by your work, especially since I work in a very similar fashion without Zbrush or other post production effects. I am a little jealouse though that you have such a great Guru! I want one!

Alessandro Baldasseroni? I don’t remember ever seeing any of his rough work flow though, just finished characters, so I am appreciative of the mesh shots you included. It reminds me very much of old world sculpters and traditional artists. Very beautiful work.

One of the techniques I use to create such fine pure modeled detail is to create grey scale displacement maps in Photoshop and then bake out the displaced surface as a new polygon mesh. Are you doing something similar in your approach? I am interested in your methodology for creating the detail. :stuck_out_tongue:

#337

Oh, my God this very nice! Details, forms, and his hair…
Congratulations!
I wait for his end curiously!

#338

superb thread here. Top notch modeling and great anatomy, I really like the back, and that Iris anamation is really good.

Denisa,

I’m just a noob when it comes to 3D…but I HAD to comment…

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!

THIS is the kind of MAGNIFICENT art that helps ALL of us…inspiring everyone to do better.

Please keep at this lovely lady. I’m waiting patiently for the colors to FULLY bring her to life.
Even with the clay renders, you can SEE her soul…her life and vitality.

I hope someday I can do a 3D piece that can do the same…

Be safe and well, everyone.

Greg
