Double mesh/subtool problem, help?

#1

Hi, I’m new to Zbrush, I’ve been working with it for about two/three days now. Right now I’m working on a model for our school game project semester and I’m making her belt that also holds her skirt up.

My problem is that the belt that I made was through masking the pattern on her skirt then extracting it. But then when I go and check the belt it looks like it’s doubled itself. Here’s a picture of what I mean.

Now how do I remove that doubled piece that’s inside the belt? And why does this happen? Cause it also happened with a bag that I made for my model(sort of fanny pack-kinda bag).

Before doing your extract, go to to the top menu and click on Brush > Automasking and activate Backface Mask. Also in the Extract options, untick Double.

Hi, I’ve turned on the Backface Mask but I don’t have the Double option by Extract and it’s still giving me double.

I have Zbrush 4R2
