Hey, if you want to be more intimidating you should get some sleeves (tatoos). Then you would truly look hardcore…err more than you already are of course
Whats the drawing look like?

Remi - Are those really BIG monitors or are you only 4’ tall?
I’m 4’ tall
there 21" monitors. We all work on dual setups at work, trying to get bigger monitors but have to wait for approval.
Psst Remi… Uhhhh you got a little something in your nose.
You should thank me, that coulda been embarassing.

Heya Rudity, do you know an instructor at CDIS called Thomas Groppi?
I knew him.
I had him for an Instructor in XSI 200. So a semester and a bit ago.
He was stoked about XSI… Hehe was funny. Had me sold almost.
Then he left to go work for Soft…
He was a character thats for sure… hehehe and XSI knowledge beyond reproach.
Do you know him?
later
Lunatique, you are one lucky man. I get the feeling she is a really nice person. And she’s beautiful…
Best wishes
Thomas? hahaha!!! he is a total fun! yes I know him pretty well. I haven’t had the chance to stay in touch with him lately…I guess he’s got too much work as I do. He came to gimme trainning for three weeks on XSI at a company I was working early last year…I was in charge of the 3D department then but we all mainly used Maya. So he came in and gave me a course about the dynamics engine in XSI and totally got me convinced. So we hired some XSI animators and bought a couple of licenses but I continued using Maya. I left the company and now it’s total Softimage place. Since then I haven’t had the chance to work with XSI but I remember Thomas gave us enourmous amout of knowledge in no time! Last time I heard of him he was working for Softimage as you say. We used to joke a lot about the competision between AW and Softimage, I’d tell him “you came here to take me away from my religion”…he’d say “I came here to show you the light (photon mapping) with a french accent” … hehe… really nice dude and he’s got impressive XSI skills.
Hey, pm me his email if you have it since it would be fun to remember old times:)
lets see i f we can get this thread up to 100, … the first one there wins a …, wait that makes no sense, …oh well , lets try anyhooo!!

Thanx man…I actually stole that pose from a friend of mine who runs a studio called “Fanciful Ape”. I believe the pose is related.
