Hard to tell. First try gel wrist rests from like Radioshack ($7). They help the wrists quite a bit. I have a problem with upper arm and back tendons that’s why I got those. The problem with ergonomic devices is that 90% of them won’t work in your case. But I would say this arm support is pretty good although for me it doesn’t help with a mouse. The cheapest place I found them is here and it’s still quite expensive.

[edit] It’s good quality, made in Finland. Comes in a goddamn triangular package. I’m not their salesperson I swear. We could also discuss some life insurance policies while we’re at it.

I used to work for that moving company in the bronx during my first year in new york. One of our foremen was always either drunk or stoned all day. He was a big fan of coors light and claimed it doesn’t make you feel heavy or full and he was a skinny old bastard, too, his name was Terry or something. So I tried it and thought he’s right. I like an occasional guinness and all, but coors light is good to maintain an acceptable everyday level of drunkedness. That’s how I stay slim.

Get two workstations. I had to do it a couple of years ago cause my girlfriend had nothing to do while I was working and vice versa and we were fighting over the computer.

On the subject of wrist rests: I’ve found that foam pipe insulation is very useful. It comes as a 2" diameter grey tube, split along one edge. The two sides of the split are lined with a very stong adhesive. This stuff has a million uses. Stick it on the edges of your desk, the legs of your chair, virtually anywhere flesh meets furniture. You can get a 6 or 8 foot length of the stuff from the local hardware store for only a few dollars.

Right hand - either wacom or trackball, left hand mice. Why what’s wrong? I wish spaceball worked properly in max and lightwave and I’d be all set.
