I found the prob:

Unwrapping a mesh consisting of several other meshes (formerly ZBrush subtools) automatically within Blender caused the problem. For Blender creates something like frames around every unwrapped mesh. The lie on top of each other and only the highest one will be properly transfered to the colour map within ZBrush.

The solution:
L click on every single mesh (after seaming) and unwrapping them one after another, fitting them to the map afterwards. This way there won’t appear those frames.

Damn it, it took me a day. Good to got this additional week.

Help, guys.

There must be someone out there who might got a clue, I hope.
My problem is, that my unwrapping and colourization doesn’t work the way it should.
Just take a look at this and at my profile. All that work can’t be futile :frowning:

HELP!!!

The end is near. So here is yet another near end update

heres a render test of the baked lowpoly mesh. I’ve changed the gun alittle. I’ll explain the functions of it in a new image on my thread soon…I call it the Graviton Particle Destroyer. Basically the spiky ends of the 3 generators on the end of the gun generate artificial dark matter energy which are magnetically held into position by the 3 small generators u see amidst each spike. Im going to make a alpha plane with green electricity going from one part of the spikes to the other till they join. So yeah, he basically triggers the magnetic force to invert and the matter goes in a pulsing frenzy. Whenever something is struck by the beam, whatever atoms in the blast radius are surrounded with zero gravity for 3 seconds, which is enough time to shred anyone into millions of particles.

He now also has Smart Armor probes orbit-patrolling him, taking any incoming projectile damage and smash melee enemies in the face. Next thing ill work on is the backround cuz i dont have one yet!

I took the render and composited it ontop of flames, which i hope to add to my textures if i get the time.

Here it is:

Heres the low rez

05/13/2009- update- i colored in my beast and shaded in the beastmasters armor. I wanted to get that realistic feeling, none of that cartoon character stuff. I want realizm to bring out the spectacular feeling of being there in action. I colored in the beast masters inner thigh to show its made of brass and give it that old metal look. Here im also trying to expose the beasts skull and show that hes made of flesh. The beastmasters armor is covered with mud showing hes been in battle for a while now. Still have a lot of things i need to do but little time… Will continue later tonight maybe if im not tired… Have to work now gl all.
