Ok this didn´t turned up as I expected but what the hell I´ll post it anyway a 4 hours Rush at first I wanted to make it scale by scale but when I saw the clock I knew I wasn´t going to make it so this is some sort of speed paint plus some extra details. Well it has been fun for most of you, for me has been more like a LIVING HELL!!!
hope to have more free time next year. See ya and good luck to everyone.

yup, right now its 3:20 est, so just about 8hr and 39mins (Monday June 1st 2009 - 11:59pm Eastern Time) for comfort purposes, take out 2 hrs, so just think as you have 6hr and 39mins left, you dont know what will happen during submission process, and you can really screw up your submission during the loading if the worse thing happens, so leaving 2 hrs behind just in case.

hope it helps, and if anything, i am still working on my entry, i need about 3 more hrs then i might consider my piece done, so i am right behind ya =D keep truckin’!

a good 30min more to tighten up some blending edges and i should be able to call it done, not much can be added at this point =/, the overall lighting looks ok to you guys?

your contact info location just doesn’t look right to me, because the overall “feel” of the piece feels like a oil painting; as currently your text seems to just rest onto of the frame, as if a digital photo manipulator just quickly tagging their water mark on. one quick suggestion would be try moving the contact info into the dark area in the bottom left inside the painting, like a oil painter would put their name or the name of the piece, since you have a gray text, its worth a shot to see if puting the contact info there would make the overall composition of the text better; if your not planing to add too much image detail in the bottom left corner area that is ;).

P.S. dont think 3 hrs, at last cut halve a hr out for submission, its dangeriously dangerious to submit at the last drop of sand.

i attempt to submit my DW IV main entry 1 hr before the deadline, and guess what? the submission uploader stoped working, almost gave me a heart attack. good thing i was not the only person on the last minute train and FredH was lenient enough to give a grace period, but dont count on it this time.

i am just being picky with some minor adjustments atm, i’ll still stay on the last minute train to answer any questions, opinion or suggestions you guys may want that is a yes or a no answer, hehe.

the sabortooth looks alot more natural at this point, without the armor, it has a nice benifit too, dont worry about the armor for now yea, work on tighten up the piece =)

mind i suggestion more toy for your pet to play with? u can always add in a toy that somewhat looks like your DW IV master, i don’t think toy is consider a creature, so you should be good :wink:

just a quick reminder, remember you need frame, name/contact and logo,
logo is taken care of atm =)

alright, i just finish posting my image up, i would just keep picking on the little things to no end if i dont, hahah

i end up not using dof(depth of field) for one; i feel that after adding so much work into the piece, bluring out alot of the area JUST to get a more realistic result isnt worth the wage over the detail everywhere way.

heres what i entered:

i put my final image into a different folder from the rest of the images i have, just in case i hesitate and end up uploading the wrong image, remember, after you upload your image, check the below link to see if your image pops up, just in case.
