Ok thanks for the quick answere Glynn. :slight_smile: Yea i should have asked before but i just got the idea to use the dragons to mark out her artefact, its the “pheonix flower” the flowers are actually red maybe that helps, first idea ive had how to use it in my character, those tribals, arrgh! :stuck_out_tongue: Feels bad to hide the whole thing somewhere, but if i show it of it destroys my design… :confused: Do you need to use the exact values of the greys in the teamcolors also? Most of my character isnt red at all just the flower is saturated red. Lets say the flowers on her hand is red and the branches they sit on has some greytones(that’s how they look right now) would that work together with only the dragons… Sorry for being hard to deal with glynn! :wink: I appriciate it…

Tbh, it really needs to be as close as possible to the CGTalk logo posted earlier. Obviously, with shading and lighting, you’re never going to be able to match the colours exactly (in the 3D entries, this would be impossible), so you just have to get as close as you can whilst keeping this in mind :slight_smile:

It says:

Gah. This is the first time I’ve seen such an error. It says contact the admin, so you guys really need to PM Fred over at GA.org.

I know he’s online over there right now, so that’s really your best bet, I’m afraid. Nothing I can do about it over here :\

Intentional double-post so you guys get the email notification:

Just received word from Fred. Please be persistent and keep trying to upload it. Last minute entries are bombarding the server and the system is struggling a little. It will go through, just keep trying :slight_smile:

There isn’t much anyone can do, apart from wait for the site to come back online.

The only line of communication I have with GA.org is through their forum, so I can’t tell you anything other than what you guys already know.

It seems that the server’s taken a bash, and Fred’s given a 12 hour grace period:

This is a Dominance War IV Important Update.

Due to hundreds of users trying to submit their DW finals at the same time, the DW system is doing some spectacular and extraordinary crashes. To compensate, a 12 hour extension has been given to insure everyone gets their entries in some time tonight.

If you get a white page error saying sorry after a list of code - please try again and again until it works. This is for submitting images, titles, urls, and/or getting into your personal entry page.

If problem persists all night, please contact me at fredh@dominancewar.com and include the following info in your email:
Your user name:
Your entry title:
Your thread url:
Your technical issue and error message:

Hi there, just a little quick question about the final images submitted to DW4 (including the images submitted to mini competition), I was wondering if they were allowed to be submitted to anywhere else, for example
1. Can I use an image as an entry for books etc?
2. Can I post it on my own website?

  Am I free to do these or do I need a permission to do it?
  And if it was all right to submit the image to somewhere else, can I modify them (modify as in... eg. change the colour a little, add some bits and pieces etc... or, does it have to be in the original state which you submitted as a final?)
  
  Wonder if anyone could help me,, Thanks very much in advance.

I’m pretty sure if you read the rules and regs on the DWIV site, it says near the bottom that the images belong to us, to do with as we please :smiley: but don’t take my word it ><
