yay! maybe with the deadline extension i could finish it in time! 
well… i finished sculpting, low res optimizing, mapping and now i’m working on the textures
…
i found this color scheme that i kinda like (altough it has nothing to do with cgsociety colors), and the golden specular looks a lot “ancient” (oh well, actually it was a random effect
). but still something is missing… i was thinking about ancient alien writings all over the armor, or maybe tatoos…

ps. sigh… those flat tubes around the neck are sooo baaaad… :sad:
ow… so sad nobody replied :shrug:
anyway… almost finished texturing… the next thing is rigging and maybe the weapon (hope to make in time, will do something very simple)

today i rigged her… a lot of stress but it seems ok now
tried a quick pose and a quick rendering

really love this style, it has so much personality. The only thing that bothers me is the way her arm join her torso. Maybe you could cover this area with some extra armor?

thanks for the tip, but well… i’m sorry it’s too late to modify the hires modeling
(there are other things that bother me too, like the hair -it’s the first time i model hair- will do better next time :D)

today i finished texturing the weapon and did the pedestal
tomorrow winning pose render and hopefully final upload!
i’m soo tired (it’s like 5am here now :rolleyes: ) but that’s war after all
