I am using the Mac OSX version of wings and am just scratching the surface with learning the software. So far, I have been unable to figure out how to dolly the camera around to a unique view of my model. My Kensington Turbo Mouse trackball does not have a setting for “middle mouse button.” Is there another solution?
Dolly the camera? -Mac OS X
Hi!
Just select your Camera mode in Edit>Camera mode… and select Maya or 3DSMax, or Motionbuilder…
You may have to set Wings up as if you’re using a one or two button mouse, this can me done in Camera settings. Instructions for entering camera mode, dolly, tumble etc will appear at the bottom of your screen. - Baz

Thanks. This is pretty much how I solved it. In OS X, the best settings seem to be to set the mouse to 2-button and the camera mode to “Blender” under the “Camera Mode” settings.
I am still trying to decide how I feel about Wings 3D. In my interface, all 4-sided faces are split into 2 triangles. Even though the 4-sided faces select as a unit, the extra lines I see can be visually confusing. I haven’t found a way to turn their visibility off. I have also not found a way to zoom in for closer work.

That’s a bug in the ATI mac graphic drivers, there is a workaround in latest develper wings release.
