Dodo Webcam, Carlos Agell Sogbe (3D)

#1

Title: Dodo Webcam
Name: Carlos Agell Sogbe
Country: Venezuela
Software: CINEMA 4D, Photoshop

This is a personal challenge, to improove my Design and modeling skill in the realization of fictitious industrial product. i was looking for belivable materials and lighting and an almost abstract composition. as much of my works the design is based in a retrofuturistic style. its a two day work from scratch to compositing. modeled in Cinema 4D and Photoshop for color correction and text mounting. i hope you like it.

cheers,

Carlos

we deff. need to talk, how do you achieve your realism(lighting),. I would really like to pick your brain. Great job as always Curare

Great modeling and lighting >>> very realism

#8

I really like the lens of the camera…

What did it take to get that effect.

#9

Amazing!
Congratulations man!

#10

Excellent job on everything, very realistic.

Design wise, I think a twin pronged approach would be better for that chrome counterbalance. Can it be removed for placing the camera on top of CRT monitors?

Very nice! I really like the layout and the colors/lighting. The actual design of the camera is ok, but a little too much like a cannon, imho.

excellent!!!very realistic

Is GI solution used?

#18

real nice, but not as good as a the inbuilt Apple iSight :stuck_out_tongue:  (just kiddin)

one/only thing I feel not correct is that on the right picture Im able to see the metal-pin and the cord… how come? thought it was sitting on a (flat) screen, but with that picture I got messed up in my head hehe.

anyway, awesome work, love the details and lightning!

#19
