Display photos along transparency of another one

Hi there !
I’m looking for a tool or a plug in After Effects CS5 which can spread images following the transparency of another image.
In fact, I have a logo, and I would like to fill it with plenty of photos I have, but without worrying of the color (the logo is just blue). I just want to display them in order that we recognize the shape of the logo designed by the photos.
Some programs are doing this automatically, but give you a jpeg file I can’t work on. I’d like to be able to animate it after that, edit the depth of the photos, etc, that’s why I’m looking for a solution in After Effects.
Anyone got an idea ?

Old like the Rocky Mou8ntains, but the basic technique is all there. You just need to understand how Card Dance works…
