Deselecting objects in selection: how to change from Alt+LMB shortcut to smth else ?

#1

Hi,

So I went and changed the hotkeys in 3ds Max for rotating, panning and zooming to be the same as in Maya

rotate = ALT+LMB
pan = ALT+MMB
zoom = ALT+RMB

It works great except in 3ds Max “ALT+LMB” is normally used to deselect vertices or objects in a selection, so if I want to use that function, I have to go back and change the rotate shortcut to something else temporarily. I’d like to find the function to which “ALT+LMB” applies and assign a different hotkey to the function, like “Shift+Alt=LMB” or something. Does anyone know how to do that ? Because while I found assigning new hotkeys to rotate, pan and zoo easy, I’m having trouble finding the function for “ALT+LMB” to assign something else to it.
