According to legend they may appear as an old woman, a young lady or a deer.
According to some descriptions the top of their body is like a woman ones, while their legs are from a white-tailed deer.
Around the world there are other similar figures, as Chilean Fiura, Colombian Patasola, Brazilian Iara, Xana from Asturias in Spain, the Naag Kanyas of India and the Sith Baobhan in Scotland. All of them are vampires or nocturnal creatures that seduce travellers to kill or feed from them.
