decals wierd color thingy

i tried to use this decal thing for applying a texture on to an object
but it doesnt seem to handle black colors very well
whats going on here?/?

By default, KEYCOLOR is set (to black). Look at the image properties in the Project Workspace. Right-click on KEYCOLOR and choose “Not Set” from the context menu.
