<UDIM> tags… one of the many blessings of Vray for a MARI based texture artist.
But… when it doesn’t work, what to do? I hate the layered texture node. I never trust the blend modes and what not. UDIM tags all the way.
Yes, I have read the documentation on spot3d and it usually works just fine. Maya gives you an error message, but works anyway. Not this time.
Yep. My syntax is “filename<UDIM>.file type”
How to debug this and avoid the blasted layered texture node setup?
