DcpFlics Authorization Problem

#1

Hi Folks,

everytime I wanna authorize an DcpFlics protected Plugin i.E. FumeFX and I click on “Authorize”, a new Windows appear - as it should - and for 1-2 s. I see the wanted Dialog. After that I see a Webpage with “Navigation cancelled”. So I’m not able to insert my registration data.
Anyone familiar with this Problem?

Ah, the shit happens under Vista Ultimate SP2 as well with SP1

Thanks in advance

Contact TurboSquid on the best method to go. I know in the past I have had to use the online registration, instead of the Max dialog, for various reasons.

ASFAIK this is a problem of the licensing system with Internet Explorer 8
I guess you did the update to IE8 ?
IE7 should work but i think you would have to uninstall IE8 to get access to IE7 again -
so eric’s suggestion would be less cumbersome…

Did you guys ever figure out what is causing this problem with IE8? I’m testing Windows 7 RC and are having the same issue. The thing is that you can’t go back to IE7 on Windows 7… any suggestion?
I could defenitely use the online auth, but I’m curious to see if it can be solved some other way… there must be a setting in IE8 that is causing this… some kind of block?

Thanks

Here it is guys,

I FOUND IT

just do this :

DCPFLICS.DLU – this goes into the \plugins\Afterworks\Common folder and overwrites the existing file.

TSRegisterNow.dll – this goes into the \3ds Max XXXX root folder and overwrites the existing file.
