What is Dark Blood: Apocalypse Tomorrow?
—During the World War 2 era Michaels father was developing a virus to make super humans. He was working extensively with the Nazi’s. Michaels grew up and learned about his fathers experiments. Over time Michaels started to expand his knowledge in the science world working with very highly respectable companies. Getting a college degree all while secretly forming a terrorist organization called fist of crimson. Michaels started to create the virus called G (1, 2, and 3) which is a virus that feeds and grows off fire and when breathed in eats your insides out, killing you very fast but painfully. Over time Michaels created the G3 virus, his last project. His terrorist organization was one of the biggest and had some of the best military equipment around. The world still had no idea about
Michaels nor his scheme to release the G3 virus worldwide and cause the apocalypse. The United Nations produce a special ops organization of the best of the best around the world to secretly take out Fist of Crimson and prevent the G3 virus
Over time one of the UN Spec Op leads becomes a POW and learns a great deal how the Western World Governments actually help fund and cause the fourth coming apocalypse. After being released instead of being a POW, you become a rebel whose goal is to stop the G3 virus but alert the world of all the lies
So what are we looking for? Well first we’re looking for both males and females. Country isn’t important nor is age but the way you act can be important. This explains why we say we’re looking for professional staff members. In past projects we’ve dealt with the annoying staff members who flame other modifications, have poor spelling and really get on your nerves. Dark Blood isn’t about that. Also we’re looking to keep our team small and simple. If you go to our staff page[color=gray] www.dbmod.com (hit enter then staff) you’ll notice we’re pretty small. And we’ll be downsizing some more. We really don’t want a big team at all.
Can you model?Are you good with 3DSMax and have at least 5 or 6? Do you know how to render models? Good with modern warfare weapons? Can you set up a model to become textured? If you can do all that and want to model for us doing Weapons, Vehicles, Aircrafts, Naval Vehicles, Characters, Static objects and more, then we’re looking for you!
Can you texture?Can you texture a model to look like it’s war torn/old/worn down? Can you render your work? Then we can use your texture skills.
[color=white]Can you code? [/color]Have experience coding for past I.D. software projects or other games? Then we’re looking for you to become our Lead Coder. Apply new game play modes, enhance game play, and become the backbone of the project.
Can you map?Familiar with Radiant? Want to create some of the greatest maps ever? Good with actual locations like Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and even U.S. Cities (Spoiler? )? Then apply to join our team and begin creating some of the greatest maps around.
[color=white]Can you draw? [/color]Can you draw characters? Good filling your pictures with a lot of action? Can you make a picture have a lot going on? Make your picture have a dark feeling to it? Can you color them in for a better piece of art? Then we could use your talents to help us create Characters, Maps, and more!

And thats only three of our staff members. Dark Blood: Apocalypse Tomorrow has been in production for over a year now. Below I listed some key things we wish to include in the Single Player and Co-Op Modes.
Realism - The mod will feature realistic weaponry, uniforms, sounds and locations. Realism is a definite aim for the game in single player as we wish to emerge the player into the game. But we will also be breaking a few realism boundaries. Which we will state later on. We will be using a hybrid of the iron-sights system for realism and crosshair for newer players to identify with the game (see later for details.) Blood and gore is a huge part of this mod. If you are blown up by a grenade you will actually lose a body part or two, and blood will splatter against the wall, or floor. This is one of the features many can consider not truly realistic but it adds something new to a game. So yes there will be lots of blood and gore. Single Player is also the prequel of our game. It is what happens before the apocalypse and leads directly up to the apocalypse as you watch anarchy break lose.
Diversity Players will see different missions, objectives and locations. The game will take place in the USA, Europe, Middle Eastern, South America, and many other mainlands and so a large variety of locations will be used such as Jungle, city, desert, snow, urban etc. This mix allows the player to fight in multiple environments
Environment - The player must fell immersed in the game. The environment of the game must be real to life and make people duck and dodge. This will be achieved though both graphical and audio effects. Almost everything will be destructible. So you could blow apart a building filled with enemies, instead of waiting for the campers to come out. You can knock some tree’s down for instant cover. You can shoot some gas drums and they will explode sending those near to a fire death and those not near the explosion getting smacked by a drum flying at high speeds. Explosions will cause glass to shatter, and cracks to form in the buildings or the buildings to actually collapse.
Unique Storyline - This game has a storyline like a movie. Bizarre twists and so on. In single player you take on the side of United Nations and form an elite group of soldiers from around the world. You first start off getting flown off to an unknown island for training. After that, all hell breaks lose. The storyline has characters you will become familiar to, ironic situations and much more. When your players first start the Single Player Campaign you will build your player first. Selecting his country, name, age, and so on. Then as the story develops you will have the chance to develop and create your squad and watch your team grows. As you get closer to the Apocalypse you will leave behind most military knowledge such as Fire Teams and Squads and start to form a group of random people off the street.
Physics - You get blown away, if you hit a wall, you’ll bounce off it, or perhaps go through the window and shatter it. If you run across the street and step on a mine, you’ll go flying, through the window. When you walk up to a wall, instead of your gun going through the wall, it’ll press up against you. If shot in the head and head only you’ll get dizzy/blurry depending if youre wearing Kevlar or not.
Characters All characters will have a name and huge role in the storyline. Your own character that you choose to create to your own liking will interact with other characters and you will start to understand things better. As mentioned before your friends could turn out to be an enemy setting you up. So youll always have to be alert to your surroundings and be ready for anything. You will also choose a group of specially trained soldiers that you can customize to fit your missions. As time goes on your team will grow but you can lose members due to death or backstabbing, but also gain members.
Progression Menu Through out the single player campaign you can open a pop up progressing menu showing where you are, your current objectives, your teams status, weapon/gear selection, and more.
Unique Missions - With new and interesting missions, with some that will surely cause uproar. These include rock climbing missions, scuba diving, patrols, sky diving, parachuting, and even a mission where your plane gets hijacked. Not every mission is all combat though. Some missions you go under disguise and gather Intel. You go form a tactical military game play in jungles, deserts, mountains slowly into a loner mode as the apocalypse approaches. The more you learn the more you break away from the military ways and become a loner and/or start your own faction with other random people you encounter. As you break away from your military roots you start to do more Intel work and follow people around that may lead you to Michaels himself.
Mission Interlinking - With mission interlinking, instead of mission to mission, everything seems like one big world. You have to get to point b any way you can. Car, Truck, Taxi, Stealing stuff, running, plane, whatever. After you get to point B and do the objective, instead of loading to a new mission, it seems like you’re still in the same world (almost like far cry is) You can even go from point a to point c and skip point b. Skipping point b will cause some problems though.
Battle System - You can fight with weapons, objects, fist to fist, or how ever you choose. Knock out a window, pick up some glass and go cutting away. Break a chair and start beating the shit out of people with a leg of a chair.
Worn Down System Youre fighting a war, and have no access to showers or new clothes. So wouldnt your clothes and weapons and yourself start to get dirty and raggy? Well of course, so thats why itll show you like that.
No Cut scenes - Mission Interlinking includes no cut scenes. If you have 10seconds to get out of a building, and make it out at 1. Instead of going to a cut scene of the building blowing up, you better keep running because it blows up at 0 wherever you are.
Character Customization - Customize yourself and your squad to country, color, weight, size, weapons, equipment, uniform, etc…
