I’ll be creating a creature for this challenge. Here is the first WIP image. Just blocking in forms and figuring out what it will look like.
The creature’s name is Szarnyak, which is Hungarian for “wings.” Wings will be a prominent feature on the creature. Since the creature can fly, I want to give it some other bird-like features such as claws/talons.
First batch of renders. Sculpted and painted in Zbrush, rendered in Keyshot, and composited in Photoshop.
The creature is blind so it hunts by scent. It uses its long arms and sharp claws to grab victims, then uses its sharp, sticky tongue to bring its prey close to its mouth. Once there, it feasts on the blood its victim.
I’m going to try and add another batch of renders from another render software.
