I sketch continually. I usually do two or three a day just using Prismacolor pencils and paper. Thought I would post a few as I do them.
Cheers

Great to see you here, Don!
I believe the very first digital painting I did was the burly fellow in your Painter’s artist’s oils tutorial. Painted it with a mouse and man I fell in love with digital medium back then. That was quite a few years ago.
Welcome to this part of the forum.
Looking forward to seeing much more of your work
Thanks so much. It is nice to know that I can occasionally inspire someone instead of causing them to expire.
That guy was actually one of many character designs I was doing for Nvidia at the time… that was a long time ago.
Thanks Again
“two right feet”… actually a mistake since I was not paying much attention to the drawing part but I thought if I titled it that way… it would look like it was intentional.
Never erase…never surrender!
Great to see you in here Don…Been a long time…I remember the first workshop,…I think it was the first one anyway…You set the bar pretty high, and it was a real pleasure to see your methods and process in action…Glad to see that you are still in the game, and still great at it also.
:bounce:
Two right feet…
…Nice save…

Hi Don…
Question…Are these last to drawings thumbnail work up sketches for a scene that you are planning to paint, or are they just two seperate little spontanious imaginings that popped up from your subconscious while you were doodling ?..Just curious …I like them both very much…Nice drawing techniques in both of them by the way…
Lovely sketches, I am learning a great deal about light/shadow just from looking at them. Hope you post more, very inspiring.
My brain must work in mysterious ways.
These are all just doodles. I rarely sit still and usually doodle while in meetings, watching tv, waiting in the car…just about anywhere.
Thanks for the kind words.
A few more silly doodles. Now that Halloween is coming…lots of ghosts, vampires, etc to draw.
