Custom Bones


Hey guys, i want to make a poxy rig, however im having problems trying to cut up my model into the nessecery peieces.

I am hoping to add the standard IK/FK BLEND to the rig,

Because i want to add more individual pieces, in the hand especially i was wondering how i can change the shape of bones into custome shapes, or use CS and convert that to shapes and add more bones especially in the hand and also add more bones to create the 3 chain ik/fk setup.

To change the shape, or mesh of the bones, what you can do is create your geometry for your proxy mesh, then add and Edit Poly modifier to each bone and attach the appropriate mesh. This way the geometry of the bones is changed without affecting the transforms.
