CS6 incredibly slow

I’ve upgraded from CS to CS6 and I’m having problems. At first it works fine, but then some dialog boxes take ages to open. For example, the png options box takes 2 minutes to open. Also, filter gallery.
I never had these problems with Photoshop CS, even though I was using it with a much older machine.
I have machine with Core i5 4670, but I’m just using integrated graphics. I’m thinking maybe new photoshop needs a high-end graphics card to run properly.
Maybe some older version of Photoshop works better?

Try going to Edit>Preferences>Performance.

Here you can adjust various memory and cache options, and crucially turn Off “Use Graphics Processor”. An integrated card probably can’t cut it.
