Creating low-poly from high-poly / retopo and keeping UVs with subdivs?

Hey! Few noob questions as I screwed up, would appreciate any directions:

  1. Is there a tool/setting to re-adjust existing topology for more even distribution while keeping the UVs and subdivs?

  2. I used zremesher to do the above, which nuked both sub-divs and UVs, how can I fix this? Is it possible to easily create a low-poly model from current sculpt and UVs, like Ctrl+D but in other direction?
