Crash Crash Boom, enter the Giant

Proud to be a member of the CGSociety, and this great speak-easy, err…comunity.

I reside in Portland Maine, where I run a small company called cgCraft(.com). My specialty has been in web development, graphic design and 2d illustration, but have always had the obsession for anything 3d, since I first viewed the Tarzan Listerine commercial in the mid-90s. Slowly I have managed to picked up some small 3d accounts, and am using those as a stepping stone to further hone my skills.

I am a 3ds Max user since version 4 (now on 7.5), and had the great pleasure of being a part of Jason Busby’s first ever 3ds Max Boot Camp in TN, 2 years back.

I hope to contribute anyway I can, and perhaps get a local SGS chapter going here in the great state of Maine.

cheers!

[b]Hey Christophe,

From the 3D on your website it looks like you have integrated 3D into your shop pretty well, an accomplishment to be proud of and one only fellow CG’er like us can really fathom.

So congratulations & welcome to the collective.

Ls3D - Indeed. Things have started to pick up. I have 2 more commercials that I am working on currently. Portland is a small city, and I have been working in the computer graphics industry here for almost 6 years. So word of mouth tends to travel quickly, as long as you stay an honest businessman.

Glad to be aboard.
