Could someone test an export/import

Hi, I am thinking about purchasing massiah for use in a real time game enviroment. But as there is no demo, could someone please test the export/import of the .x format on a basic boned/animated biped for me?

I would idealy like to know if it was compatable with http://www.unwrap3d.com/ (a free download can be got there to import into) as I use this as a format convertion tool. I am aware than texture export isn’t avaliable for .x, but that is not too much of a problem as I can texture it afterwards. I just need to know if the model deforms correctly when animated with bones.

.x is one of those tricky formats were it seems that every application uses a slightly different one :slight_smile:

There is a demo of messiah animate, but you can’t save from the demo :slight_smile:

In my tests, the exported file worked great in Microsofts Direct X viewer with bone deformed objects.

I downloaded the Ultimate Unwrap demo and everything works just fine…

But XSI for instance didn’t import it correctly.

There is no .x import.
