Hello guys,
I have decided to give a try to Corel Painter 2015. Now I am having trouble with the basics. The dropper tool (aka eye dropper) cannot pick a color from some areas of my image (my canvas). I never had this kind of problem in Photoshop but I experienced a similar problem in an earlier version of Corel Painter. So my guess is this is not a bug. It looks like I am doing something wrong here. When I try to pick a color from the darker areas of my picture it works fine. When I try to pick a color from some lighter areas, the dropper suddenly picks a pure white. What can cause it? What is the solution?
Thank you for your help!
Corel Painter: color turns to white
All right. It seems to work properly after I re-save the file, close and open it again. It looks like it was a bug after all.
Cool, sometimes with programs like Photoshop and Corel Paint… They are so intensive, that the memory get corrupt and closing the application and file will fix it…
Also, if you have other application open… they only put a strangle hold on the computer’s resources available for image editing.
Not to say you can’t play World of Warcraft and edit family pics at the same time… but you will notice your photo editor react slowly and even the tools start to act funny… usually causing problems.
or so I hear
Thank you! Everything is working fine now but when it did not work it was pretty annoying. I guess, it is a specific problem of Corel Painter. I have never seen this kind of problem in Photoshop.
