I just got the new software my school uses in the the mail (Light wave 3D) I know Maya and 3DS Max as well and might use those (Lightwave doesn’t seem to do as much and my school also uses 3DS Max)
Anyway the idea for my animation is to make a assembly line. Each component of the assembly line would make a noise and the motions would be timed to the beat of a song. The assembly line would be shown making a machine which would then be shown playing a piano at the end of the animation (the only sound that is unexplained at that point) The song would be “Keep It in the Family” by Hybrid. I would have to modify or change the song some to work for my idea and i would not use the whole thing. (I would mainly use the part more towards the end)
I have some concepts and ideas in my head but i don’t want to go forward with the idea if its not a good one.
So what do you think of my idea? If its good then i will make some concept drawings and storyboards later on today or tomorrow.
Also any critiques or suggestions on how to change the idea would be appreciated.
I am going back to school in mid August so i have roughly two months for this (i could possibly carry the work on into school time if needed)
