Looking for work in San Francisco or LA area.

Currently I am working as a concept artist/cel animator at a commercial animation/SFX studio in Buffalo, NY. I have been here for almost 6 years and I am very familiar with a professional studio environment. I am responsible for concept, character, and storyboard development on projects ranging from broadcast commercials to animated music videos for such clients as HBO, MTV2, VH1, Reese’s, HSBC, ConAgra Foods, the Disney Channel and Fisher Price. I have recently been working as concept and texture artist on season 2 of MTV2’s series “Video Mods”. I am used to working closely with directors and fellow artists as a team to deliver professional results within a tight deadline. I have a long background in traditional arts and digital painting. In my current position it is necessary to be able to switch between various styles depending on the art direction of a project. I am constantly redefining my personal style and look forward to developing new skills.

I am very interested in moving on to a larger studio like in order to further my career and to challenge myself as an artist. I feel my skills would be valuable to a video game studio as my style lends itself towards a more unique creative vision than has been allowed at a commercial animation studio. My creativity compliments my illustration skill and they are both enhanced when working with other creative professionals who are fully involved in a project.
