Hello, my name is Crystal Paré and I am currently employed at Towson University just north of Baltimore, MD as a Computer Art (Graphics)/Digital Illustration major, and will be expecting graduation in December of 2006. I am looking for a position either full-time during the summer months or a part-time to later full-time position as a 2D artist for possibly a concept artist or a 2D artist position, and would even like to consider hire for a full-time position for a company after graduation. My main focus while attending Towson has been designing characters and creating some of my own concept art, and having also studied the concept art in a wide array of areas, including (but not excluded to): World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy games, Dungeons and Dragons, Toy Story, etc.
The programs I am competent with include:

[li]Photoshop[/li][li]Illustrator[/li][li]Rhinoceros[/li][li]3D Max (some knowledge)[/li][li]Quark[/li][li]Flash[/li][li]AfterEffects (some knowledge)[/li][/ul]I have also had prior job experience working for a company called EarthData, International in Frederick, MD working as a Photographic Intern position, where my career was to digitally edit aerial photographs using Photoshop after previously being placed geographically correct on a map of the United States using GeoStar programming techniques.
I have also been accepted a job as a Graphic Artist to promote the company at a company called Optimetrics in Bel Air, Maryland, yet I am still searching to seek employment elsewhere.
I am trying to look for employment in the Maryland area, as travel and relocation for me at the moment is difficult and limited, as I am currently still enrolled at Towson.
