coming from photoshop few questions

  1. i was wondering if there is a hotkey to delete a layer i have selected? in photoshop i believe i just hit delete and its gone.

  2. is there anyway to expand a selection? i work in games and constantly have to expand a selection from my ubs for mip-mapping reasons. i see nothing in painter 12 that lets me expand some selection i have.

  3. anyone know what brush (or something similar to) is being use in the mixer window? i really love that brush and would like to have something similar to it for work use.

  4. is the only way to merge layers by selecting two layers then merging them? i cant just press a key and merge the layer down?

super new to painter and was curious about a few things.
