Combustion Schematic Workflow

#1

I got something very annoying with C4 schematic view. I have allways two view, one for cam and one for schem (I do all in schem). My problem is that each time I click something in the schem view, the active viewport become the schem view, if I double click a node it switch timeline and so on. Simple example, I make a preview, I need to hide a layer, so I hit it in schem to deactivate it, and before redo the preview, I must reclick into cam view to activate it. This is even worst with timeline/node settings etc. So is there a way to have schem view independant into C ?

as you said, the shematic view, is a “view”,
not really workable… as you said

I agree that this is something very annoying about Combustion, and I was hoping that it may be fixed in some way in C4. It seems bizarre after using Shake, or in Fusion, you just drag the node to the viewer (although that behaves strangely in it’s own way).
I seem to remember doing some kind of workaround where I made the schematic view into a floating window and put it on a second monitor, but I can’t really remember how this helped.

They should release a point update with features that address this navigation issue.
