Combustion Crashes

Just got a new system,

2x Dual Core Xeon 2.8
3 Gig Ram
Nvidia Quadro FX 4500
Windows XP Pro

  1. I try to attach a combustion material in a material slot in Max, After pressing ‘Edit’ in the Combustion Parameters, I would get an error (attached).

  2. After this happens I try to open Combustion by itself, it would crash during the loading screen. I would have to log off and then log on for it to load properly again.

  3. This only happens on the new machine, my other machines everything works like how it should…:

Dual Xeon 3.2
3 Gig Ram
Nvidia Quadro FX 3000
Windows XP Pro

Anyone else have this problem?

Try the 1.0.2 update if they let you with the demo. I haven’t had that problem but it has corrected a number of repeatable errors.
