Colorless World, Noelle Tomey (2D)

Title: Colorless World
Name: Noelle Tomey
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This is a painting based on an 80’s cartoon called Rainbow Brite. I thought this would be a fun way to practice painting horses. For the falling snow, I used a noise filter on a gray layer and set the blending mode to “screen.”

I have a long way to go, but I learned a lot from this piece!

Hello!

I think the horse looks a bit too big, but everything else is really cool. Nice mood, colors and lighting!

cheers

Wonderfull job, my only crit would be the proportions of the horses legs, right back leg is way to long and the front legs could be longer and slimer at the hoof. My input, otherwise awesomenistic job.
