Color carbon fiber,

Hi, i,m busy for some time now with a Pagani Zonda Tricolore.
But i can;t get the material rigt from the bleu carbon.
Can someone help me with that ?
I use Vray 2.1 and 3D studio MAX 2011.


You can see here the carbon of the Tricolore.

The black carbon is easy, but the bleu one is a bit hard.

Hmm…could you post a render of what you have so far?

This is what i do have so far. (don;t look at the uwv wrapping, i,m still working on that.)

I put a render from the car how it is now. don;t look at the uvw wrapping. i,m still working on that.

In the photo it is only the specular reflection that is blue and diffused areas are black.

I’m not sure how it is done in Vray but in Mentalray there is a car paint shader that allows you to choose a different colour for light facing.

With the help i get this now.
Bit more like the photo.
