#204

I love the overall design feel of this ship, great work so far.

#205

fantastic Hobbes leaves me speechless

#206

Top/front quarter is done. Also added some panelling to the main armour to break up the flatness.

#207

Hey guys, I’m just checking in to see how things are goin. Not much updates, but still good ones. I got my new comp Monday, and it’s awsome. Only thing I need to get now is a second 8800 GTS because the 320 MB cache on my current GTS has minor lag with high resolutions for gaming. Also, when running max with vista, theres a error 998 of something with incompatibility with memory. But I can still run max when vista themes are disabled. I’m not sure if my memory is tapping into all it’s resources. Anyway I’ve been occupied with playing ES: Oblivion and it’s quite addictive. I’m gonna get back to modeling either tomorrow or next week though. Only problem is that the one file I transfered to my new computer is the one where I merged all the separate meshes for the big arm. So hopefully I can go recover the nonmerged version on the old comp.

#208

Sorry for the lack of updates, fellas! I’m in process of moving

#209

Whats going on over at SciFi-meshes.com?

#210

The site is still up and running fine, but they are having some DNS issues. you can access it via http://66.11.115.154/~scifimesh/forums/

#211

You Da-Man HOBBES! I can get there now. By the way… kick ass ship you got there! I wish I had half the talent that you all have!

#212

Link doesn’t work antmore Hobbes any ideas?

#213

Until the problem with the domain registrar is sorted out the site will have to be accessed through scifi-meshes.net and scifi-meshes.org.

#214

You guys are just so friggin talented, I’m honored to be in such company.

 Justin, you just keep me coming back for more.

#215

Thanks fellas. Keep up the work, don’t get bogged down! We’ve been working in the background, just not updating much lately due to rl stuff. Personaly, today is the day I move so I won’t have access to the net for a bit.

#216

Finished the bottom quarter, now for the middle part, and crew decks

#217

Hmm, forgot to post my last updates pics from the weekend. I don’t know if further updates will be possible this week. I’m nearly done the crew decks. Not much left to do before unwrapping:

  • main flak batteries in the midsection (will be quick and easy as it will be mostly instanced)
  • replace the temp ribbing on the landing deck area
  • finish the piping and details on the FLT/main drive mounts
  • complete the forward retro thrusters and cowling section (I considered making these batteries like the forward batteries on the Pegasus, but this is a support ship, not a sledghammer, so no)

#218

Hobbes, man, looks great! Updates coming from me shortly too

#219

Sorry for not posting too much but I’ve had a buisy last few weeks, the good thing is hopefully things will more or less settle down from here on. Got some spec mapping done but there are a few areas that require some atention still.

#220

No worries, I’m on the same bucket…due to the gettin’ married and heading for Vancouver for next week, I don’t think I’ll be able to update much for a while  See you all when I get back!
