Collapsing modifiers


Hello im working on a very big project, its like a shopping center with a lot of buildings, im runing out of ram and i wanted to collapse all modifiers but i have a LOT of instanced objects, how can i collapse all modifiers at once without loosing instances? thanks


I dont think collapsing will help that much.
Can you post example capture of modifier stack?

Collapse all will break instancing, but collapse to will not, so just collapse to the highest modifier.


You can duplicate your scene file and tray collapsing to see what effect that would have on memory probs.


How much RAM are you using and can you not just add more RAM?

Do you know about using Xrefs?
