A couple years ago I watched a show called HitRECord on TV, it was hosted by Joseph Gordon Levitt and it basically was made up of clips and bits of things users had uploaded to a platform with the same name (hitrecord) and remixes other users did. So for example, someone would post a log line of 1 or 2 sentences that would ignite a script written by other user and then users with drawing skills would do the concept art, storyboards, etc.
I joined the platform and after a few lurking months I decided to jump in. I decided I wanted to learn blender and having lots of concept art I decided to look for robots or characters that looked easy enough that I could reproduce them.
In the following months I started thinking about projects I could start using blender, although there are not many blender users in the platform…well, not many 3d users in general) so this is kind of an invitation to join and collaborate doing short animated films in 3D. I use blender but I’m sure if your software is different we can figure something out.
I’m learning, I consider myself a new user with very limited skills, but I find these kind of projects challenging and helps me try to level up.
Would you like to join in? all my working files are available in the platform
