Hi bbonamy and welcome to the forum. Neat image you have there. I like the colour tones of the cliffs and sky and the fact huminoids are nearing the cliff edge to observe the crash.
I find the colour contract between the craft and the rest of the image too severe, perahps some more orchre in the craft …
The red area is flame or radiation? If flame there is no smoke visible which could add to the image’s impact.
Good job.
Really nice, I really like the style of the colors put together, it really reminds me of another digital artist but I forgot his name. Good job, and welcome, I can’t wait to see more from you!

oh wow damn
awesome coloring! if you didnt tell me you used photoshop i wouldave just thought you used acrylics or something.
Two little pieces of nitpicking:
the rock mountain thing on the top right doesnt look right to me…seems a little too bland in shape to be rock
the focus point of the piece, that big red engine (?) steam. Looks awesome but maybe it would look even better with some more variety in that red? just a thought
Oh, and i think that if you could do anything to “blend” the two sides of the picture (the part that is colored more brown and the other part, darker and more obscure) better, that could improve the overall quality. Right now you are showing massive contrast between those 2 areas (and that is awesome), but maybe if those 2 areas merged somewhere through the middle a little more proficiently…
but yeah, damn again, impressive
thank for all of you.
your comments will be usefull to inprove my work.
ZUKUM, the red steam or smoke is actually representing the world of the “visitors”. I did it like that because I wanted something without any earthly reference.
In my mind, this red think follow the group of aliens everywhere they go, a sort of symbol of the invasion who should arrive next…
and it help me to do the contrast betwen the two world, up and down
But this idea need to be pushed a little bit more on the picture to make sense.
XAV, more variety in the red
and some movments (tentacles like) are modifications I will try.

wow, this is great.![]()
the colors and contrast are great. the entire composition is awsome. i love the red in the caverns.
keep um comming
I love the rough touch and the great mood and depth in this piece.
I’m putting it on the frontpage. Welcome to CGtalk.
I love this piece - very cool concept! The only thing that I can’t help but notice is how the whole piece is in warm colors with hardly any cool colors to offset the reds, oranges and yellows.
Nonetheless, absolutely awesome!
Great work! I want to jump in that picture and start exploring myself. More! More!
:buttrock:
I definitely saw where you were going with the red. I thought the same thing before I read your post about it. I think it’s a really cool idea, I wouldn’t change it. It really enhances the idea that these guys don’t belong.
Awesome painting.:applause:
Welcome to the forum gbonamy
oh wow.
awesome coloring. very cool concept.
Really nice, I really like the style of the colors put together, it really Good job. I love your 2D style !
The red area radiation is great !
Cool ![]()
Great picture, it tells a story by only telling 1 % of the entire story. This is a great thing because that’s a very hard thing to do, but also a bad thing, because that usually means that I’ve seen this kind of predicament too many times before.
Hi Guillaume very excellent stuff. Great color and composition. 5 stars for u !
Congratulations for the frontpage
Wow. Great picture. It is a great way to enter the forum. And congratulations for the frontpage.
I realy like the mood that you have created with the diferent colors. I also like the way you made the guy on the top of the clif with his animal looking down on the spaceship.
If you just add a litle more detail on the rocks near the ship…were the crasched parts is. They dont have the same fealing as the rest of the picture. They are blured. But dont add to much so it don´t draw the atention from the red aura.
Keep up the good work:thumbsup:
nice. It looks like a traditional painting, and you should take that as a compliment. Good use of colors
