CleanCopy:
- is a free reset xform tool, without lingering xform modifiers
- works on single or multiple objects
- ‘cleaned’ objects inherit original objects name, pivot, and layer
- allows you to set a single ‘cleaned’ color, or randomized
- provides feedback on the objects ‘cleaned’
- is in part based on Garp’s Fracture Voroni 1.1 script

Here is a screenshot of the tool in action.
(The objects on the left will be 'cleaned' properly, the objects on the right will not.)

...select the objects, then press the button...

The 'cleaned' objects are now displayed in blue, and are ready to be rigged/skinned.
//Why?
I created this script because I was merging characters from multiple files into other files, rescaling them to real world units, and then rigging them. I found Garp's 'clean copy' method to be an elegant solution to the scaling problems I was having, and I wanted to easily batch-process entire scenes, with feedback, with layer/pivot/name inheritance and color control, without Xform modifiers in the stack. My scaling issue is presented below, along with the CleanCopy solution.

See that nasty scale value of 33.556? Don't want that.

Problem solved.
Hope some folks find this useful!
