Clean White Reflections with Vray for Maya

#1

Hi,

i´m just trying to get the look of those clean white product renders in Vray for Maya.
I mean just clean white reflections in a completely white room.
In Mental Ray I actually used the mip matteshadow to get work quickly done - here is what i want to achieve:

I tried the MtlWrapper but i think i have to learn a lot more about this.

In Vray this seems to be very difficult…any advice ?

Thanks !

Not sure about the Max way to do this, but in Maya you’d attach a VRayObjectProperties node to your floor, set it to “Matte Surface” with an alpha of -1, check affect alpha and turn up reflection amount to 1, if I’m understanding what you’re trying to do correctly.

Hope this helps.

Yes, you can do this in max by right clicking the floor and selecting vray properties
