I have few question :

  1. I thought about my future Classic Poster , and i guess I wanna drop many Vehicles / Building and just few characters . It’s problem ?

2- The Classic Movie Poster’s content always have something bigger / better , and the things have another look than in movie , so we can make some changes , and use our creativity ?

3- May I will make more than one highpoly model , can I put together the Beauty Render , or the Poster In Photoshop (NOT color correction) ?

Sorry for stupid questions .

Bye .

i have a question

about the ā€œclassicā€ itself, it stand for something iconic, or for something that is just old?
and if that the important, how many years are needed for be a classic?

I am kinda with Josjoj here are we aiming for the retro poster look? Because your description says no stills from movies. http://www.moddedmustangs.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/original-bullitt-movie-poster.jpg is kinda still based so things like that I am curious about.

#7

The retro look is fine, but it has to be based on an actual poster.

BTW that Bullit poster is fantastic.

  1. No problem
  2. yo ucan recast the poster, but it still has to be based on an actual movie poster.
  3. Yes you can do a Photoshop composite for this challenge.

Hey Roberto question.

So this is the classic shot from the Stooges short ā€˜Our ā€œForeā€ Fathers’. I can’t find any type of poster for this, I don’t think they made them, and technically it’s not a movie though it was shot on film for the theaters. Would this be alright?

Also, my time is again limited so if anyone else wants to do this go right ahead.

Sorry - I am new to this forum - if this is obvious - but is there a polycount limit and/or texture map limits?

#14

Quite the opposite actually. Build as big and complicated as you need.
Welcome, good luck.
