Hi guys, this is my first post here, it’s a pleasure, and this is my first render try too, i’m just starting. Sorry if my english is not perfect, I’m from Chile and I speak spanish.
So this is it, the horse is sculpted in Zbrush, and the scene and volumetrics are made with maya and arnold.
I’m trying to add some volumetric light to my scene, but I can’t get good god rays with a single spot. The volumetrics in front and behind the objects also affect the visibility of the scene and rays.
I fixed it by rendering the volumetric light separated for every single piece of the chess, and limiting the beam with a couple of planes, and it worked. I can see good god rays in my scene now.
But I have another problem now, I don’t know how to make the composition in nuke with all this images of volumetric light, any advice? Is there a best method for volumetric in multiple objects?
I would like to add some drama to my render with light rays and dust.
