characters: pirate brothers

I really wanted to convey a sense of brotherhood here, a couple of unsavory characters who would nonetheless stand by each others’ side. I’d love to hear any suggestions on how to make the message come through stronger.

ok, so perhaps they shouldnt be standing butt to butt, how bout back to back, to me it seems a little more manly, or they could be arm wrestling,

your drawing skills are fantastic, by the way.

I agree with AtomAton. It would look better if they were back to back. At first I actually thought they were joined at the hip.
